Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Stuart Gallon failed to recover from a brain tumour late last year.  He made such a big impact on so many lives that his wife Marion and his RBS colleagues decided to set up this page to raise funds for brain tumour research in his memory.

On 1 May RBS colleagues (Fiona McKerracher, Alison Gilmour, Len Marsh, Kevin McCormack & Michael McCuaig) joined Stuart's wife, Marion, and all completed various distances of the Kintyre Way Walk.

On 23-24 July, four other colleagues from the bank (Donna Paterson, Tony Traynor, Craig Dickson and Richard Blair) took on their own challenge in memory of Stuart and successfully completed the 3peaks challenge.  This involved climbing Nevis (Scotland), Scafell (England) and Snowden (Wales) in 24hours.

Amazing challenges and an amazing amount of money raised so far.  Thank you to everyone for your donation and your support.  Watch this space for the next challenge.

Your kind donation will be sent direct to The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre who will put the much needed funds raised towards brain tumour research and supporting those affected by cancer.
