Story

After suffering the torment of the Keswick to Barrow 40 mile walk with a team of crazy HOPE International supporters in May this year, I'm now joining a fantastic team who are taking part in the 10km Great Ethiopia Run* in Addis Ababa on 23rd November, after which we'll be travelling south to visit some of HOPE's projects in Derashe for a week.

We're raising money for HOPE's brilliant work in Ethiopia and other developing countries - so please help!  You can stick your credit card number into the online donation form on this site... it's easy, and they even claim back the Gift Aid for HOPE if you pay tax in the UK...

About the charity

HOPE International Development Agency is continuing our work in Bonke, a region in southern Ethiopia. When we first started our work there in 2009, only 14% of the 199,739 people had access to safe water. Now it is 48%. Our goal to bring this to 100% in the Bonke region by 2018.
