Story
I have known Gael and Gunter since they taught me as an undergrad. I have also gotten to know their gorgeous daughter Romi (pictured), who suffers from Rett syndrome. Rett is a genetic syndrome and Romi can't talk and can only walk short distances. Reverse Rett is a parent-driven charity which is working to accelerate treatments and cures for Rett Syndrome and related MECP2 disorders.
On the 5th of October 2014, I will be running in the Great Scottish Run (10k) Girls with Rett can't run at all, but there is hope. Treatments are on the horizon. Your donation will help to fund the research that will speed treatment.
Look at those eyes and that smile - go on go on go on, you know you want to donate.
