Yes it's official. It turns out that I share 98% of my DNA with the human race. Who knew?
As part of my training for the 2010 Marathon des Sables, I've entered a bunch of races this year in the hope of alleviating running boredom. One of them is the Great Gorilla Run 2009, a 7km "race" on 26 September in the City of London. My gorilla suit has already arrived. All I need now is £400+ in sponsorship...
The Gorilla Organization works to help keep huge hairy beasts from extinction. I think the reality of this task is much harder than it sounds given that the Democratic Republic of Congo is currently experiencing civil unrest - one of the gorilla rangers died recently after he was shot by rebel militia. Please give generously to this worthy cause.
