Story
After the most incredible trip of my life hiking to Everest base camp, I got back to london needing another new challenge. Knowing that I could easily watch movies every evening or go drinking in bars, or stay in bed all day, or just be lazy... instead after a few bottles of wine in the pub we all decided to sign up for the marathon....
I also signed up for volunteering at Great Ormond Street Hospital last year. They do an amazing program there called Radio Lollipop where goofy, silly people like me come in after work and at weekends to play music, play games, paint pictures and generally just try to take the kids minds away from doctors/treatment/pain etc just even for a few minutes!
This marathon also just happens to fall on my 26th birthday!! So please come down to watch and cheer us on (or cheer me on when the boys run off without me) and celebrate my one year older in Reading on the 21st MARCH!!! Any donations would be amazing, Radio Lollipop is such an inspiring, amazing thing to be a part of, so even just a few pennies would be amazing! Thank you very much for your donation. It really means a lot to me and to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSHCC).
