My story

Bag your favourite fell now, once they're gone they're gone!

If there is one thing we do not have a shortage of in the English Lake District it is water -  yet one sixth of the world's population do not have access to safe drinking water.

Around 5000 children die every day as a result of diseases caused by unclean water and poor sanitation. WaterAid projects providing safe water, sanitation and hygiene education cost just £15 per head.

I am looking for 214 sponsors to donate £15 each to raise a total sum of £3210 for WaterAid, one for each of Wainwright's 214 fells.

In return I will add your name and short message to my web site's Hall-of-Fame.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. If you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

If you would like to be shown in the Hall-of-Fame please add a suitable short comment and mention the fell you wish to sponsor.

Many thanks for your support
