Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Paul Redding (PTA), Amanda Bowkett (ex Pupil) and Robert Templar (Governor) have been friends for a combined total of 100 years and we are attempting a walking challenge in the Lake District in aid of the Ben Rhydding School Centenary appeal. On the 19-20 September we will be climbing the four highest peaks in the Lakes and walking between them - a combined distance of 32miles with a total ascent of over 12000ft!. Please support us to help raise funds for equipment and resources for our local school. We are also fundraising for the Bwindi Community Hospital in Uganda - please see the following website www.justgiving.com/bwindi100  for more information and for donations (we would be very happy if you donate to both!)

STOP PRESS: WE DID IT! 33 Miles, 12,000ft, 20 hours, sore feet, aching knees, happy to be home! More pictures to come. Thank you to out support crew of Hilary, Gary, Yvette and Lucy and to all of you who have donated/sent goodwill messages. You can still donate below - every little helps!
