We breed and train guide dogs to give blind people freedom and mobility

Story

The Cause: I am raising money for Guide Dogs through the 'Name a Puppy' scheme. This is in memory of Suki, 'a Guide Dog like no other' who tragically died in September and will be sadly missed.

The Challenge: After my final exams in January, Nemi and I will cycle 120 miles from Atherton, taking on the hilly Peak District various cycle ways and tow paths, back to Lincoln.

I have modified my bike to accommodate my furry friend Nemi, who will run alongside me or ride in front in style! (If she gets fed up then she can jump in the support vehicle and I will complete the remainder alone).

Any donations, big or small, are warmly welcomed.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH AND WISH US LUCK! (Video to follow on completion!)

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
