We provide social palliative support to the families of seriously-ill children

Story

The massive XSCAPE 3 Valleys Charity Day (formerly La Tania Charity Day) in aid of charities in the UK and France takes place in April every year.  In 2015 we aised €36,000 - Thank you to everyone involved.

A limited amount of 2015 Charty Day T-Shirts are available for £10 each.

Starting in 2002 and inspired by season worker Dan Provost who had recently lost his mother to cancer there's historically been fancy dress, live bands, a BBQ, outside bar, raffles, auctions, silly games, Harley Davidson rides, the annual egg eating competition, the Charity Day T Shirt, Saisonnaires Poll Winners Party and The La Tania Charity Ball. We also had a float race down La Troika piste in La Tania and in the first year a Chinese Downhill!

The money raised has been split between the Sebastian's Action Trust (a respite home for terminally ill children and their families in Hampshire, England) and  the Ligue Nationale Contre le Cancer (the French Cancer Research Charity).

Since 2012 the event has taken place in Méribel Village for a safer, more organised event with more room and security for everyone to have a great day - a separate cordoned off area with toilet facilities, security staff, marquee / beer tent, comedy, dance tent, a covered stage, professional PA, security staff and transport services to Méribel & La Tania / Courchevel provided.

2014 saw The Dub Pistols added to the local bands line up and the Pistoleros returned again in 2015 along with Radio 1 & 2 DJ and Queen of the Live Lounge, Jo Whiley

2015 also saw a La Tania Family Charity Fête on Easter Monday which raised €5,500 and a return to the original La Tania roots with BBQ, Kids Games, Easter Egg Hunt, Ski Race and a chilled out atmosphere involving the whole village.

The total amount raised so far by the Charity Day events in 2015 was €36,000 - well done to everyone involved - the organisers, workers, volunteers, performers, all those behind the scenes and most importantly all the people who supported the event, bought food, drink, raffle tickets and merchandise. Thank You All!
