Story

NEW DATE: 19th of January

Doors at 18:45

Show at 19:15

This is part of my personal project for my MYP curriculum.

It excites me to say that this celebration of Latin culture and food is going forward. With a lineup of truly fantastic musicians, we will play from all over Latin America, whether it be Brazil or Cuba - we've got a lively set packed, ready to be served!

The ticket includes free Latin food, guaranteed good time, dancing, music, and 1 ticket for a raffled gift basket which will be given to someone on the night.

All funds collected from the sale of tickets will go towards the construction of a new school building in a rural community our school has been supporting for many years in Nepal. Having been to Nepal on this project, I can say that this is quite close to my heart because the trip is just as emotional as it is humanitarian. I want to keep supporting the Nepalese children from abroad, so I need your help!

Project Nepal background: PN is about uniting communities from around the world, learning from each other, and working together to make a tangible, visible, and real difference.

MC of the Night: Tallulah Duvenage!

When ACS International Schools started in 1967, so did our commitment to provide high quality international education and to positively impact the communities we serve. Over 50 years on, while trends in education come and go, our founding principles remain. They’re at the heart of everything we do. In 2018, we became a UK-registered charity and ACS International Schools In America Inc. a 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation, was established in the US. ACS has already invested over £1m in means-tested bursary places, providing opportunities for students to benefit from an ACS education and, in turn, enriching our community. In our next 2020-21 academic year, over 40 students will benefit from bursary places. In addition to the significant sums we already commit, we also invest in campus facilities to enhance our students’ learning and support for teaching excellence.
