In a moment of sheer madness I decided that I was going to take the challenge of completing a full marathon (that is a staggering 26.2 miles in its entirety) all in aid of Camp Simcha at the Las Vegas Marathon this year.

When a child has a serious illness, incredible positive experiences have the power to lift spirits and to give vital strength and energy for the challenges that lie ahead. It's a simple goal and it's the reason Camp Simcha exists - to improve the quality of life of Jewish children with serious illnesses, such as Leukaemia, Muscular Dystrophy and Dysautonomia, and to provide them with the unforgettable experiences that they and their families deserve. This is where you come in; I am asking you to sponsor me to complete the LV Marathon 2008 which takes place on Sunday 7th December. The money won't be going to fund my pretty meagre training programme or even the next property deal placed on my desk but rather every penny pledged will go directly into the Camp Simcha coffers. I can assure you that the cost of registering for the marathon, flights, accommodation and administration for the sponsorship have all been paid for personally and therefore every penny raised will be going directly to Camp Simcha in order that an ill child can benefit from your kind donation.
