Story

Thanks For Visiting Our JustGiving Page...

A team of 12 employees including the Managing Director from St Asaph based fibre optic company, Leader Optec Ltd, are taking part in the 3 Peaks Challenge organised by children's charity Action Medical Research.

3 Peaks Challenge

Starting at the foot of Ben Nevis in the spectacularly beautiful setting of the Scottish Highlands, and finishing at the foot of Mount Snowdon in Snowdonia National Park, North Wales, in between teams will visit Scafell in the Lake District and be tested to the limit ascending and descending the three mountains - Ben Nevis at 4,409 ft, Scafell Pike at 3,206 ft and Snowdon at 3,560 ft. The event will be taking place on 4th - 5th July 2015

Leader Optec are taking part in this event for the challenge of the event, as a good team building exercise but most importantly for a great cause to raise money for a fantastic charity in Action Medical Research.

Leader Optec will be taking part in the event to raise money to help fund medical research into conditions affecting babies and children. Research currently being supported by Action Medical Research includes work around premature birth, cerebral palsy, meningitis and epilepsy, as well as some very rare and distressing conditions that severely affect children.
