This September, Leah Eades and Howard Bristol are going to cycle the Danube Cyclepath- 700km of it to be exact, from Passau in Germany to Budapest in Hungary, by way of Austria and Slovakia, over 18 days! And we're hoping to raise a lot of money for Oxfam in the process. Basically, Howard wanted to raise money for a charity which focusses on the environment and animal protection, and Leah wanted it to go towards education and HIV awareness in the developing world, so we looked for a charity that does both of these things- and that charity is Oxfam! It justs works to make the world a better place in a load of different ways (just check out the 'campaigns' section on the website for a gander at where your money will go), so please, give generously- to quote Tesco, every little helps. And by giving through this page, the money goes directly to the charity- so you don't have to worry about us using it to fund our own cycling holiday!

You can also follow our progress, once the time comes, through Leah's travel blog http://backpacksandbooks.com/- to prove that we're really doing it!
