** UPDATE 17/05/10 **  THE JUMP HAS BEEN COMPLETED!

Mark and I jumped at about 1130 on 16/05/10.  I loved every second of it because I'm just plain weird.  Mark however had a hell of a hard time climbing up the bridge but he pushed on and did it conquering his fear of heights.  Respect to him.

Many thanks to everyone that has donated!  There is still more money to come from Offline sponsorship and this site will be able to take donations for a further two months, so its not too late!! 

This was just a small start for us and we will both continue to try and raise as much money as possible for THE CHRISTIE for as long as we can :o)

We're doing a 170ft bungee jump off a bridge on 16th May in aid of THE CHRISTIE cancer care hospital in Manchester.  

Over the years several relatives and close friends of mine have been diagnosed with cancer and I have made many visits to THE CHRISTIE.  I want to give something back and try to help beat it!  Paul

Mark is a true hero!  He was diagnosed with testicular cancer and came out the other end, in his words the staff at THE CHRISTIE are "Angels" he is also terrified of heights so please donate as much as you can.

 

It is the only bungee jump in the country that gives you the sensation of plummeting from a bridge over freezing water.  After the jump we will get vacated by a waiting speed boat.
