Story

Hi everyone...

Sorry to be here, asking you for funds again, but i'm running Run to the Beat in Greenwich....13.5 miles all in the name of raising money for The Stroke Association!!

Shortly before my Grandad died he had a stroke and the affects were devestating...Every year, an estimated 150,000 people in the UK have a stroke....

That’s one person every five minutes....

Stroke is the leading cause of severe disability and the third biggest killer in the UK, after cancer and heart disease. More than 250,000 people in the UK live with disabilities caused by a stroke.

The Stroke Association is the only charity solely concerned with preventing stroke and ensuring that everyone touched by stroke across the UK gets the help they need.

More information can be found here: http://www.stroke.org.uk/

Guys, I'm running A HALF MARATHON! Please dig deep and give all you can, £5, £10 or even £20 pounds will make such a difference!

As i've said before, if you want to come along to mock me on the day, please do!!

Thank you all so so much!

Lee
