We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

Legends of Kids TV are two volumes packed to the brim with interviews, chats and Q&As with nearly 100 stars covering over 50 years of children's television.

Television and radio are a vital cog in any child's upbringing and, done well, it can stay with us well into adult life. It fires the imagination at an early age and can inspire us to achieve great things. Some of the people in these books have already done it moved onto other things and some are making a name for themselves right now.

Everyone will have their own personal legends depending on the programmes you watched, but this selection covers nearly 150 different programmes and includes presenters, performers, writers, entertainers, voice artistes, puppeteers, physical performers, storytellers and comedians.

I can guarantee you explosions, monsters, animals, royalty, West End stars, award winners, cartoons, stupid deaths, time-travelling tales, bogies, aliens, funny stories and puppets galore as well as plenty of iconic faces which I hope will have those memories flooding back. So, hop aboard the nostalgia train and have your tickets ready...
