Over the weekend of 24th -26th July, I along with a group of brave Travis Perkins staff will be taking over the Lake District, undertaking a unique physicall challenge called "Beat the Moon".

The challenge involves:

20 miles of cycling, 9 miles of trekking Scafell Pike, Canoeing across Wast Water and running for 1 mile to the finish line.  All this before the Moon comes up. Simple right?

Monies raised from this event will go to Travis Perkins nominated charities, Action for Children and Mencap. Both charities need your support to continue the vital work that they do.

I know its difficult in these times of recession! to sponsor every charitable request that is made.  But this is a very worthwhile cause and your donations will not only be gong to worthwhile charities, but also help to spur me over the finish line, hopefully before the sun sets!
