Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We did it!!! Please continue to support us!
As some of you may know Lynne and I have a daughter, Christine, who was born profoundly deaf and as such we are looking to raise money for a charity that is close to our hearts.
The Royal Academy for Deaf Children in Exeter is a excellent school that helps deaf children and young adults all over the country. It gives them opportunities that, we know only too well, are not always available to them and we hope that by donating you will help us to support them.
Along with my life long friend Steve, we have cycled the length of this fair Isle during the last 11 days. Lands End to John O'Groats (LEJOG) is approximately 1000 miles and we managed it in only 56 hours in the saddle..
Steve and I decided to embark on this epic trip the summer of 2010 and we wanted to nominate 2 charities, mine being the Royal Academy and Steve wishes to support a charity close to his heart Daisy's Dream. www.justgiving.com/lejog-steve-andy-2010
