GREAT NEWS: WE DID IT!!!

Daisy’s Dream is a charity that supports children and their families facing and following a bereavement of a significant person in their lives.

As a tribute to Karen Berry, a wonderful woman, who sadly passed away on Christmas Day 2009, aged 50, this is the charity I have chosen to raise money for.

Daisy’s Dream have made a fantastic contribution to Karen’s children and continue to do so today. Daisy’s Dream also supports schools and teachers who find themselves in positions of counselling children during school time. As Karen was a teacher herself I feel she would appreciate and acknowledge the support Daisy’s Dream provides.

Along with my life long friend Andy, it is my intention, to cycle the length of this fair Isle during the last couple of weeks of June. Lands End to John O'Groats (LEJOG) is approximately 1000 miles end to end.

Andy and I have decided to embark on this epic trip in the summer of 2010 and wish to nominate 2 charities, mine being Daisy’s Dream and Andy's The  for Deaf  Children in . www.justgiving.com/lejog-andy-steve-2010.
