Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
I’m sure that you are all fully aware that I am running the “Flora London Marathon” on April 22nd 2007 – Mmmmm 4 weeks time eh!
After successfully completing last year in a record time of 5hr 40mins I’m back for more punishment and hope to complete this year in around 4hr 15mins.
Sadly, after being diagnosed with stomach cancer two years ago – dad became ill again in November last year and to everyone’s surprise, detoriated very quickly and ultimately passed away peacefully on the 4th January 2007.
When I was 1st notified that I was successful in obtaining a gold bond place via St Catherine’s, Dad was chuffed to bits and couldn’t wait to inform family and friends to tell them that I was running the FLM again, and more so who for. So in loving memory of Dad and to raise much needed cash for St Catherine’s, I’m asking you all to dig deep and sponsor me again.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St Catherine’s Hospice will receive your money faster and if you are a UK tax payer, an EXTRA 28% in tax with be added to your gift at no extra cost to you.
