Story
For the last year I have been teaching a girl who has suffered from Leukaemia, she is 9 years old, a great artist and scientist who has a great sense of humour and is a wicked little dancer too! She has been brave throughout her treatment and has kept smiling through the toughest of challenges. She now has to go through another year of treatment before her next test. In this time there has also been another family in my school whose mother has been affected by this disease. We felt so touched by the plight of both of these familes that we wanted to do this bike ride in aid of a charity which might be able to help these people.
Tom Lewis, Anthony Prior, Lorraine Turner, Bex House, Nathan Green and Kyle Booth are this summer going to beat France. Our mission cycle by day camp by night from the Northern coast of France over the Pyrenees to Bilbau in two weeks. It is about 730 miles so should be about 50 miles a day (ish).
I hope you will join us in our quest to raise as much money as possible for this worthy cause!
