Story

    Ride To Live

I would like to thank everyone who has made this event such a success.

Thanks to everyone who has donated and also to the Novotel Hotel for laying on a lovely buffet for all the riders at the end.

We completed the 11 bridges in 1hour and 15min and had a glorious day for it.

The turn out at Battersea Bridge and Tower Bridge was amazing thanks to everyone who turned up.

In 2005, when I was first diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, 3 a day "that's just in the UK" were diagnosed; now 2008 that has increased to 5 a day.
The Motor Neurone Disease Association gives great support and help, but in order to do this, money has got to keep coming in. That’s why I have organised this bike ride with a great group of people who didn’t take any persuading so I can do my bit, with the help of you all. Everything helps no matter how small.
What we have planned to do is start at Battersea Bridge at 11am Sunday morning 28th September 2008 and travel north to south going over all the bridges finishing at Tower Bridge. The journey is about 15 miles.
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: the Motor Neurone Disease Association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

NB Some people have asked me if they dont have a zip / post code what do they put in the box. The answer is to put in 000.
