On 27th and 28th June 2008, Team Limelight (Craig Dews, Kara Sweney, Tom Kerry and Gemma Marks) along with 19 other companies from within the sports industry will retrace the footsteps of Hannibal and his band of 40 elephants as they crossed the Alps for their attack on Rome in the 3rd century. This challenge will take Team Limelight through 3 European countries – France, Italy and Switzerland – along a gruelling 26.2 mile marathon course. The route crosses two high alpine passes, reaching a maximum altitude of 2537m (8321ft) including 1622m (5321ft) of ascent. It promises to be a huge challenge - not only to complete it, but to not come last!
