We support disadvantaged 11-30 year olds to get their lives on track.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

You may be surprised to recieve an email like this from me - not as surprised as I am to be sending it!  In a moment of madness my good friend Fiona and I committed to join the Princes Trust  Women's Challenge on a 100k trek in the Namib desert - we will be walking from the skeleton coast, over the highest sand dunes in the world and into the desert interior; a vast, unpoplulated wilderness.  Temperatures will be high and amenities minimal so the challenges will be multiple.  I am already  in training - with much hard work ahead.

The Princes Trust helps many young people, who have not had the advantages in life we have enjoyed, to help themselves and turn their lives around.  This is through training, education, mentoring and encouraging - please give generously to this worthwhile charity.  We will each be donating £800 to cover our costs so the money you donate will go directly to those who need it.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Prince's Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!    Many thanks for your support.

The Prince’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.
