Story
My husband was diagnosed with MS 11 years ago, since when we have coped with his increasing disability and job loss, but most devastating of all, the loss of his sense of self worth, MS can destroy more than a sufferer's body. With this always in mind I volunteered for the China Trek, and now..........I'm back! There were times when I doubted I'd make it back at all, never mind in one piece, but "I DID IT!!!!" Doing something special for MS in trekking up and down 100miles plus of mountain paths, on and off The Great Wall of China, has been an enormous challenge, especially as I have a fear of hieghts. I completed the task to raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Trust, so important to me,my family and thousands more. One more week and I'll be back at work Wearing my "I Climbed The Great Wall" T-shirt, with pride.
I still have to raise £600.00 more to reach my target, so I am hoping folk continue to be generous during the 3 weeks I have left for fundraising.
A huge thank you to all the people who have pledged their support so far, and to those who will be doing so in the future. To my friends and future friends, who knows? You are terrific
Linda
MS Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
For those who prefer their generosity to go unheralded, it's not necessary for your name to appear on the website for all to view, just leave the name box below blank or use a code name. No one will ever know, but thank you just the same.
