Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page in memory of Nick Guild who died on 29 July 2008 in Queen Elizabeth Gardens in Salisbury.

When Nick died, he was with his friends having a good time just being Nick.   I had left him in Salisbury at lunch time and the next time I saw him he had died.   The hole in our lives is massive.  Nick's death was completely  unexpected, the suddeness in so hard to bear.  However that is why I'm doing what I always said I wouldn't do, and that is run a half marathon.   I want other people to know about all the other children that die unexpectedly from undiagnosed heart conditions.   That is why I have chosen to run for C-R-Y.

Please sponsor me in memory of Nick, I'm fairly sure this will be my only attempt at a half marathon!!!

Thank you for your support.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cardiac Risk in the Young gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
