We support people in Surrey to achieve their potential

Story

We've Done It - We put in a respectable time of 11 hours having tried our own routes in a couple of places which cost us some time. Great fun, good dry walking weather, very well organised and tiring. No major injuries and everyone made it back safely; so all good on that front.

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page and for all the generous donations so far; we all salute you!

We are planning on undertaking the Surrey 3 Peaks on Saturday 25th September on behalf of the Surrey Care Trust. They do a wonderful job helping local people overcome social and economic disadvantages.

26 miles walking through the glorious sunny countryside of Dorking and its surrounding areas.

The "gladatorial" training:

Anne - Running up to 100 miles per month; now that's impressive.

Andy - Has been eating bacon sarnies to stock up on carbs for energy for the trip and wandering with purpose along the Basingstoke canal between Woking and Ash Vale sometimes with a Dalmatian in tow.

Damo - Has been getting lifts to and from the local pub quiz; no doubt getting tips on how to complete it and trying to find a pub called the "3 Peaks" in Surrey ("Ostrich" how sweet ;o)!

Mike - Has been wondering aimlessly around the Devil's Punch bowl down in Hurtmore, Surrey with "little Mikey" for company. Meeting lost Latin Teachers and looking for adders.

Phill - Can't remember what training he's been doing.
