John Fulford has very generously run the Brighton Marathon to support Lomond Branch of the NCT in memory of Anna Louw who tragically died last year. John completed the marathon in  4hrs 48 mins.  Well done!

Anna and family lived in Helensburgh while her husband Len, a submariner, was based at Faslane.  Anna was a key member of Lomond NCT, working to support local mums and branch's fundraising. She was also a runner, infamously running the Warsaw marathon while 6 months pregnant.   So it is particularly appropriate that we are aiming to raise funds to train breastfeeding peer supporters ( a cause very close to Anna's heart) through John Fulford's Brighton Marathon run.
