The gauntlet has been laid down, the challenge? To reach Rome on a non-motorised 2 wheeled contraption aka a bicycle. That's 1,147 guest-imated miles.

To make this trip worth while we are raising as much money as we can for the White Lodge Centre. The trip is being funded independently so all money goes straight to the charity!

Not only that, we are going self-supported, no fancy tour de France car with spares to back us up, every day we'll have to pack our tent and lug it up a few mountains, for two weeks!

The Target?
We've started with a bargain target of £573 and 50pence! Why? thats 50 pence a mile and we would love to smash it.

Incentive?
If you guys can raise greater than our target before the event, I (Pete) vow to get my legs waxed, it'll be a first, it something I said I'd never do and they are damn hairy for added pain!! I'll get something out of Brett soon...
