I DONE IT!!!!! BUT IT'S STILL NOT TOO LATE TO DONATE

 

My Daddy

Well this is it guys, your chance to pay good money to see me go without a shower for more than half a day!! No, I haven’t run out of shower gel; I'm taking part in a charity Sahara Trek! 

 

The brochure said ‘trekking across the Sahara over nine days will provide you with an unbelievable experience which you will never forget’. They hooked me in before I had a chance to say ‘Indiana Dr'e & the Long “HOT” tiny Summer’!!

 

For those of you who don't know, in Aug 2003 our daddy became very ill, he has a tumor called Plasmacytoma which resulted in him being paralysed from the waist down. Daddy went from being so full of life to having to cope with his new circumstances overnight. I never thought our family could be any closer, but we became closer than ever to support him. Daddy suffers 24 hours a day; however that suffering would be far worse if it wasn’t for the constant love & care our mummy gives him, plus the tremendous work provided by Dr Grant & the other doctors who treat him. 

 

So this is my opportunity to give something back! I am raising money for the Barking, Havering & Redbridge Hospitals Charity & the money I raise will go directly to the Haematology Department. My target is to raise a minimum of £2,500 & I’m looking for your help. 

 

So, to end on a high note & to encourage you to dig deep, you know my idea of camping is a hotel without room service so doing this trek goes way beyond my comfort zone. It doesn't matter how much you donate, it all helps, now where did I put those baby wipes.....
