FUNDRAISING WALK IN MEMORY OF LARA KNOX

WE ARE A GROUP OF LONGNIDDRY MUMS WHO WILL BE WALKING THE JOHN MUIR WAY TO RAISE MONEY FOR WARD 2 AT THE ROYAL SICK CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL.

 WE WOULD LIKE TO COMMEMORATE LARA WHO RECENTLY LOST HER BRAVE BATTLE AGAINST NEUROBLASTOMA AND TO SUPPORT THE EXCELLENT WORK OF THE NURSES AND DOCTORS OF WARD 2 WHO DID SO MUCH TO HELP AND SUPPORT HER AND HER FAMILY THROUGHOUT HER ILLNESS.

We have now completed all the walks at a total of 45 miles.  We have been so lucky with the weather and had 4 beautiful days. 

Big well done to everyone who took part in the walks, will be updating this site with sponsor totals as they come in. 

  Must say a big special thanks to East Lothian Private Hire who collected a group of us from Dunbar, drove us home and then very kindly donated the fare to the charity.   Also other thanks to various companies along the way,  The Old Aberlady Inn, The Nether Abbey Hotel,  The Mcdonald Marine Hotel,  The Volunteer Arms, and finally the Snack Stop on the A1 layby just before the cockburnspath turnoff.
