Hi thanks for visiting my page and reading my story. Ive been fundraising for cancer charitys for the last 7 years, I know the amount of years as its something that me and Claire started to do after mum died. I was 30 when she died and mum was only 58 she died of secondary breast cancer. Ive never been one to really fund raise or support a cause its funny how things change when you loose someone you thought would always be there. It started with ribbon walks for the first couple of years then I managed the great north run and for those of you that know me im not built for running! :0). On the 6th aniversary of mums death I set off on a 360km cycle challenge in India raising money for three fantastic charitys.. So itll be just short of 8 years when again i put my foot on the pedel to head of around Bejing and am again as always a bit behind in my training but again those of you that know me know that it wont stop me.
