6 members of the Love Russia team have signed up to take part in this year's Bupa Great South Run. It is 10 miles long and all of us are inexperienced but willing!!

The statistics are frightening regarding the future of children who are forced to leave orphanages at the age of 16 possesing little more than the clothes on their backs. Within two years:

40% are in prison, 40% are addicted to alcohol or drugs and 11% commit suicide.

We really hope to raise the funds needed to keep the Genesis Project going.  If you are unfamiliar with the scheme, the Genesis project supports and nurtures orphanage leavers or teenagers who are at a severe financial disadvantage, by enabling them to get an education and guiding them in basic life skills.  Supervisors that monitor the students to make sure they are staying on track.
