Story

Lucky v Jiggy

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY

Well, after years of putting it off we have both decided that the time has come to settle our differences, and what better way to do it than put on a pair of boxing gloves and beat the living daylights out of each other for charity on 3rd July 2009!

Training has been going on for almost 5 months now and a lot has happened since 16th December when we joined Team Nemesis (http://www.team-nemesis.info) in Bath where Islan Eltuyev (2 times USSR Boxing Champion who also coached Jamie Cox to Commonwealth Gold in Sydney) began to take us through our paces.

Time for an update on the planned schedule for the evening:

7pm – Doors open for guests to arrive at Bath City Football Club (http://www.bathcityfc.com).

8 pm – Guest Speaker Sabrina Salis (Area Manager for Cancer Research UK)

9pm – Guest Speaker Glenn Catley (Former WBC World Champion) interviewed by MOC Mark Liechti.

9:30pm – THE BIG FIGHT LIVE

10:15pm – Raffle Draw

10:30pm – Music

Raffle tickets will be on sale from 7pm and there are some fantastic prizes to be had along with many other entertainers on the night.

Tickets are £20 with every single penny of your £20 going to charity - you simply need to sponsor us £20 on this site and your ticket is reserved, we are funding the venue ourselves seperately through other sponsorship deals.

Please tick 'No' to the 'Are you donating for a ticket' option as we are organising this seperately.

Please feel free to add a comment when sponsoring, who you will be supporting, or any general banter, all are welcome (within reason!).

If you are not able to attend the match then please still donate what you can for this worthwhile cause!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

1 in 3 people will be diagnosed with Cancer at some stage in their life, so take a look at the person on your right, and then the person on your left, statistically one of you will be affected, please give what you can to help this worthwhile cause.

Please sponsor us now!

A quick thank you to our main sponsors as well, without them the event would not even be taking place!
