WE DID IT!!! WE DID IT!! After 26.2 long miles we finally crossed the finish line, emotionally and physically spent, in 4hours 19 minutes. The atmosphere was as uplifting and as awesome as we had been led to believe and we felt incredibly privileged to be there running. Sure, we had our lows, and very soggy feet from mile 12 meant very sore feet but our lows came at different times in the race so we managed to keep each other going at exactly the same pace from the 3rd mile to the finish line. Neither of us has stopped smiling or wearing our medal yet, and for those of you who are wondering.....no, we are never doing it again - the box is well and truly ticked!!

A huge thank you to every single one of you who has travelled this long journey with us - helping us to achieve our goal. Thank you to you all for helping us far exceed our fundraising target and thank you to our long suffering families for giving us the time and space to do this.
