Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

In September 2008 I plan to cycle from London to Paris for the charity Everyman, part of The Institute for Cancer Research. Everyman has two main aims: to raise awarness of prostate and testicular cancer amongst both men and women and to fund research vital to improving the outlook for every man - by eliminating male cancer. With prostate cancer being diagnosed in around one in 14 men, it has overtaken lung cancer to become the most common cancer in men. Even if you are not affected yourself, it is highly likely that you will know someone who is. Therefore, to aid the fight against male cancer, please help me raise my target sponsorship!

I will be setting off from Greenwich on the 10th of September and will be in the saddle for 4 days, covering on average 120km a day. I aim to reach Paris on the 13th of September and will return to the UK on the 14th.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Institute of Cancer Research & Everyman will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
