On Sunday 6th July, I'll be taking part in a Charity Cycle Ride from Hampton Lucy (near Birmingham) to Oxford. This will be in support of the Jennifer Trust, who work with children & adults with spinal muscular atrophy. I'd really welcome sponsorship from any of my work colleagues to this worthwhile cause.

The route is approx 50 miles, & I'll be leaving Hampton Lucy about 8am, hoping to get to Oxford about 5pm (if my legs don't give out!).

Mon 7th July update - Thankfully, I completed the cycle ride in 6 hours, starting at 08:30 in Hampton Lucy & finishing at 14:30 on Oxford. About 700 cyclists took part, with a similar number coming up from London. The weather was pretty bad - rain & a head wind - so I got completely soaked. But lots of rests, tea & bacon butties did the trick. It brightened up just as we arrived! Thanks very much for your support.
