My name is Dane and I was lucky enough to receive a double lung transplant in 2008. After fighting the disease all my life i was losing the battle. This operation literally saved my life! So now I want to help raise awareness and for the cftrust and organ donation. 

I have written a song called 'Thank You' as a tribute to my donor and it has been recorded along with my band "Modern Sound Library' and is to be released later this year. It will feature others affected by Cystic Fibrosis including sufferers and families of sufferers. 

I am working with the cftrust to host a number of fund raising gigs as well as the song release. The website is coming soon and the Facebook and twitter are already up and running. (search lungfest)
