Story
Thank you for looking at my Just Giving page.
Many of you will have had the terrible experience of Miscarriage, Still birth and Premature babies or know someone that has been affected - for this, my heart goes out to you...
I have 3 reasons to run 26.2 miles in the London Marathon 2011 - my 3 wonderful children, all of whom were born premature.
Poppy was born at 33 wks weighing just 3lb 15oz. Poppy has just turned 8 and is a normal 'typical' (!) girl of that age, 8 going on 18!!
Ethan was born at 35 wks and weighed a heathly 6lb 6oz. Ethan has just started Reception class at our village school and really enjoys it!
Noah was born at 31 wks weighing just 4lb 13oz. Noah is my funny little man, who is such a character!! Noah has recently started walking, all be it a bit like a Monkey - all arms and legs!! Noah is still under a consultant at our local hospital, but is doing really really well.
All of our children are blessed with good health and no long term effects of being born too early. With this in mind we are so lucky and very grateful for all our children.
There is no medical reason for our babies to be born early, so your donation today will go towards the essential work Tommys carry out investigating and hopefully greatly reducing premature births, Miscarriages and Still Births, so families like ours do not have to go through that awful time.
Thank you once again, Lots of Love,
Lynn, Mark, Poppy Ethan and Noah
