The Mac 4x4 is a long-distance four-wheel drive navigational event in aid of the Macmillan Cancer relief fund starting in Hereford?? and covering up to 1000 miles in just two and a half days. Last year was our first attempt at anything like this and we finished joint 9th overall, with a second place in the orienteering category. This year we are better prepared and hope to get higher placed whilst still keeping the spirit of the event in mind 'Raising Money'. The vehicle and all running costs are met by myself and Peter so all money donated goes directly to 'Macmillan Cancer Relief', who I have personally experienced at work during the last few weeks of my late mothers life, they do make a difference when it really matters.
