Carrie is my 8yr old great-niece.  After her mum swam a mile in Loch Lomond for charity Carrie decided she wanted to raise money for charity as well.  In particular she wanted to raise money for Yorkhill Children's charity in Glasgow as they cared for her when she was repeatedly poorly with tonsillitis and have cared for many of her friends as well.  Carrie has put heart and soul into raising money and has now raised over a £1,500.  

Carrie is starting 2015 with the 3km fun run in Hyde Park, London and has persuaded a lot of the family to join her!  There will be 3 generations of us all doing it together and we are even giving up our family 'Christmas lunch' to do it as there will be no-one left to cook it. No way can I run it but I am going to walk it with my brother.  It will be a lovely thing to do all together and we hope that between us we will help Carrie raise more money for Yorkhill and support her generosity of spirit .
