As you probably know, I'm a sucker for a challenge....... As well as enriching my own experience by taking on these tough challenges I know that I am also helping to raise money for one of the most worthy causes I know. Scope(formerly the Spastic's society) not only raises money for disabled adults & children but does an amazing job raising awareness for all people with disabilities. Scope enables positive change in our society providing information & funds in the workplace & homes & an amazing support network for people & families with cerebral palsy. YOUR MONEY WILL BE USED IN A VERY VALUABLE WAY...........
I'm not kidding myself that this is going to be an easy trek. I will be walking in the desert for up to 7 hours a day & climbing some very high sand dunes near the Algerian border of Morocco. Having climbed Mt Sinai & trekked through Wadi Rum (desert in Jordan) in 40 degree heat, I know what to expect & IT'S NOT EASY!!!! Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure.
