Hi,

i am raising money for bowel cancer research by running the London Marathon 2011. I know this sounds a long way off but training starts HERE!!! because i have been given a guaranteed place by the charity it means i have to raise at least £2000 .We have some big fundraising ideas for later in the year and early next year but all donations are very welcome and every little helps us. It also helps to keep me going as i know people have faith in me to do it.

 This is such a deserving charity and not a well publicised one. There is quite a high incidence of bowel cancer on the isle of lewis and most of us know someone who has been affected in one way or another.
