MS-UK is here to support anyone affected by multiple sclerosis (MS), which affects over 150,000 people in the UK. We empower people with MS to live healthier and happier lives by improving the understanding of the condition and providing support where it is needed most.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

I've chosen to run the London Marathon in April 2007 to help raise money for the Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre a charity that is dedicated to supporting people affected by MS.

My Mum - Nan Alston - bravely battled with the MS for many years but sadly passed away in January 2004.  I know she suffered a great deal of pain, but her greatest sadness was the impact the disease had on her mobility as she loved walking and being independent.

I wish we'd have known about MSRC when Mum was ill because I'm sure the access to impartial information would have made a huge difference to us all.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Multiple Sclerosis Resource Centre will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
