Story
Hi there,
I am back from the Sahara desert, and had one of the best experiences of my life! It was harder than many of us thought it would be - imagine walking over large rocks for eight hours...ouch!
I'd just like to thank everyone who donated, it's a fantastic cause, and at the time of writing, the 23 of us who went to the desert managed to raise £46,000....and counting. An amazing total for a great charity.
The programmes will be aired on 21st December, and 28th December on MUTV, so keep your eyes peeled for it - it looks fantastic!
If you promised to donate, and are only just getting it done now, rest assured I will still be accepting sponsorship for as long as anyone is willing to sponsor me!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Manchester United Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. Thanks again for all your support. It made walking 105km through the desert easier knowing you were all behind me.
