I am running the London Marathon in April to raise funds for 'Mind' - the Mental Health charity.

As someone who has personal experience of depression, I am a great supporter of the work that 'Mind' do.  It is estimated that one in four people are likely to experience a mental health problem every year.   You can be sure that any money that you donate will be used by 'Mind' valuably:

Support operations include:
- Mindinfoline - confidential advice lines
- Hundreds of publications offering advice and support
- Over 180 local associations

Your donation will help 'Mind' in their ability to help provide advice to those suffering and to destigmatise mental health. 

£7.50 could pay for specially trainedMindinfoLine staff to answer one enquiry from someone needing support and information.

£20 could help to support a local Mind association befriending scheme for those experiencing mental distress who cannot easily leave their homes.

£50 could help support a local Mind association provide training programmes and work experience for people recovering from mental illness.
