Story
Update: I did it!! Now it's your turn . . . . .
The Flora London Marathon was held last Sunday 26th April 2009. I completed each mile for the cats on my t-shirt and received great support from Cats Protection on the day!
I completed the marathon in 4hrs 48 mins and have a couple of black toenails as a reward... ouch. My cat ears and tail were fantastic and got me recognised amongst all the other runners.
Thank you again to all the supporters that sponsored me. The money raised is going towards building new cat pens at the main foster volunteer's home. A plaque will be displayed and say that the money was raised by running Flora London Marathon 2009.
Cats Protection have been very supportive of my training and marathon event. Thank you very much for this opportunity, especially from Chris Crewe (Sutton and Cheam Branch Co-ordinator).
