Story

Adam Grogan has been marching for mammals. The 2379 mile trek is nearly over, and Adam will finally get to put his feet up on October 8th when he completes his mammouth walk...

Thank you to all who have generously donated, or assisted Adam along the way - he has very much appreciated the occasional comfy bed and hot dinner!

Adam's journey may be nearly over, but we are still accepting donations and sponsorship - you can do this either through this site, or contact us at The Mammal Society for more details.

In order to raise awareness and funds for The Mammal Society, Adam Grogan (Honorary Secretary of The Mammal Society) has been walking all of the Long Distance Footpaths of England and Wales between April and October 2008. During his journey Adam has recorded signs of mammals with help from local mammal groups, and publicising the cause of small mammals.

There are 14 trails, totalling 2,379 miles, and Adam has walked them over the course of six months, starting with the South Downs Way and working his way around the country to the South West Coast Path. To find out more about the 14 National Trails that Adam will be walking along visit www.nationaltrail.co.uk.

All money raised by Adam will go to The Mammal Society, so please give generously! If you would like any more information about Adam's walk, or just want to learn more about The Mammal Society, please dont hesitate to get in touch.
