Hello there, thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I decided to do this challenge in the New Year, to raise money for a charity that I really believe gives women and children the opportunity to live a better life. I particularly wanted to do something that covers a variety of needs and services having been very specific in the past on fund raising.

I completed the Moonwalk of May this year and that in itself was a tough walk, so I am now looking to train hard to get through this awesome task. I was diagnosed with osteoporisis earlier this year and also have an underactive thyroid, coupled with a few pins and plates in my legs, so the ride will not be easy! However I consider that I am very lucky to be here and to have the opportunities that life has afforded me and for that very reason alone I feel it is important to do this and give others the very opportunity to have life.

Update As of October I have now managed to loose around two stone and continuing with the training regularly, its getting harder but addictive, and I just love cycling!!

November update have now decided to attach a satnav to the bike tried being cool mountain biking in deepest Lavant and got myself totally lost! Came back covered in mud but pleased I found my way out looked more like a renegade than a therapist taken to cyling!!
