Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

On 22nd May I will be participating in a skydive from around 12,000 ft to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. As I'm sure you can appreciate this is a far cry from my natural habitat of Harrods and high heels but I couldn't refuse to help such a worthy cause.

Three of my close girlfriends diagnosed with breast cancer in the last 5 years are today all fine through the great treatments and support received. They made the illness more real to me and I saw their pain and fears close-hand. I wanted to do something to help the cause, as some aren't so lucky -15 years ago I lost a very close friend in Spain to the disease and it makes you understand 'carpe diem' and 'tempus fugit' every day. People who have suffered with breast cancer are always more real and in touch with mortality in a calm but deeply spiritual way and choose to make a difference afterwards...we can all make a difference.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Breakthrough Breast Cancer gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
